On March 8th, 2019, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee held the conference to close the emulation and commendation work in 2018 and launched the emulation movements in 2019. The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan – Deputy Standing Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Council, Mr. Le Duc Vinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and the representatives of departments, agencies and businesses located in Khanh Hoa province.
In 2018, in spite of a lot of difficulties and challenges, the government and people of Khanh Hoa province made the great efforts to fulfill well all the targets and duties to develop the local society and economy. In 2018, as compared to the same period last year, GDP growth rate rose by 7.02% and the state budget revenue rose by 7.9% with the amount of over VND 21,874 billion. Many emulation movements have been being performed such as “The businesses of Khanh Hoa province are good at production and business, fulfill over the targets” movement for the period from 2017 to 2020; “The whole country works together for rural development” movement for the period from 2016 to 2021. The administrative reformation, information and communication technologies application have continued to be improved. The emulation movements have been organized to have the forms and contents to meet the purposes of assigned political tasks. These movements have created the great effect on the local socio-economic development.
Some typical reports of Cam Lam District People’s Committee, Executive Committee of Border Defence Forces, Department of Tourism, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Institute of Vaccines and Medical Biological Products of Khanh Hoa province were presented at the conference.

To promote the emulation movements at the conference, Mr. Le Duc Vinh requested that the patriotic emulation movements had to be practical, effective and suitable with every class of the people. The emulation movements had to associate closely with the performance of the political duties of each industry, each locality and each organization. The commendation had to be accurate, timely, public and transparent.

At the conference, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee awarded the emulation flags to 24 collectives and certificates of merit to 73 organizations for their outstanding achievements in 2018. Khanh Viet Corporation was honored to receive the emulation flag as the leading business of business sector No.2 of Khanh Hoa province.
