On the morning of October 9, 2022, at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2022-2023 of Nha Trang University, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Vice Chairman of Trade Union of Khanh Viet Corporation, on behalf of Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco), awarded 20 scholarships (VND 3 million/each) to 20 needy students and 2 full ride scholarships (VND 25 million/each) to 2 extremely needy new students. The full ride scholarship can help pay for study costs and living costs for the first year of university. The total amount of 22 scholarships is VND 110 million.
Le Thi Tuong Vy, a new marketing student receiving a full ride scholarship expressed her feeling emotionally: “I would like to send my deep appreciation to my teachers and Khanh Viet Corporation for offering me a very valuable scholarship. Without this scholarship, I don’t know how to cover my study costs and living costs for the new school year. I promise that I will try my best to study well.”
Previously, on the occasion of opening of the new school year 2022-2023, Khanh Viet Corporation cooperated with Khanh Hoa Provincial Study Promotion Association, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Khatoco’s Trade Union and Youth Union to carry out the program “Help Children Go to School”. Through this program, a lot of clothes, notebooks, schoolbags and scholarships were given to needy pupils and students in Khanh Hoa province with a total amount of VND 213 million.
The programs “Help children Go to School” and ” Give Wings to Your Dreams” are our annual charitable activities in response to Vietnamese Study Promotion Month and Vietnamese Study Promotion Day (October 2) whenever a new school year beginning. These activities express the special attention of Khatoco’s employees to needy pupils and students in Khanh Hoa province, aiming at reducing their financial burdens and encouraging them to overcome difficulties to study well.
