Khanh Viet Corporation organizes a Training Course on Occupational Safety and Health for 2022

On November 3, 2022, Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) cooperated with Viet Nam Greenlines Training Joint Stock Company to open a training course on occupational safety and health for 108 Khatoco’s employees to comply with Decree No. 44/2016/ND-CP dated 15/5/2016 of the Government and Circular No. 06/2020/TT-BLDTBXH dated 20/8/2020 of the Ministry of Labor – War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Through the training course, the trainees were provided the basic knowledge of occupational safety and health in order to recognize dangerous and harmful factors in the workplace to protect themselves from occupational accidents and diseases and to improve their working conditions. During the course, the trainees practiced first aid skills such as chest compression, rescue breathing, foreign object blocking airway emergency aid with Heimlich technique, leg splinting and victim transferring … After finishing the training course and passing the final test, the trainees were granted the certificate in occupational safety and health training in accordance with regulations.

So far, Khatoco has always paid attention to and strictly implemented work in occupational safety and health. All its 18 member units completely perform the maintenance, repair and inspection of machinery and equipment subject to strict occupational safety and health requirements. The working environment condition has always been tested in accordance with regulations. The working people have been trained regularly in occupational safety and health. A neat, tidy and clean working environment has been being built to avoid occupational accident. Whereby the employees feel secure in work so it can lead to increased productivity. Especially, Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarette Factory was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health under Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for its outstanding performance of work in occupational safety and health in 2021.
