On February 23, 2021, at Yang Bay Tourist Park, Khatoco Retirement Club hold a meeting on the occasion of beginning of Lunar New Year of Buffalo 2021. The meeting was attended by the Board of Members, Board of Directors, Managers and Deputy Managers of Departments and Centers together with 200 former employees of Khanh Viet Corporation.
Annually, this meaningful activity is organized when Spring coming in order to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of the former employees to Khatoco’s building and development process and thereby maintaining and creating cohesiveness between Khatoco’s generations.

At the meeting, Mr. Phan Quang Huy, Deputy General Director of Khanh Viet Corporation reported on the results of Khatoco’s production and business activities in 2020. Despite of facing a lot of difficulties and challenges due to the Covid – 19 pandemic, Khatoco collective has made great efforts and united with each other to finish basically the assigned targets: Consolidated revenue of VND 6,869 billion reaching 91% of the plan; stage budget contribution of VND 2,597 billion reaching 87% of the assigned target; consolidated pre-tax profit of 315 billion dong reaching 119% of the plan; export turnover of USD 43 million reaching 101% of the plan. Khatoco will continue to implement 3 main investment projects: Investment in cut tobacco processing line at Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarettes Factory; Moving Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarettes Factory to Trang É 1 Industrial Cluster; Building the infrastructure of Trang É Industrial Cluster. At the same time, Khatoco continues to implement its equitization in accordance with the approved schedule …

In the happy and warm atmosphere of the beginning of the Lunar New Year, Mr. Phan Quang Huy sent his best wishes for good health and happiness to all Khatoco’s retirees. He hoped that they will continue to accompany and support Khatoco to develop more and more sustainably.
