On the afternoon of February 17, 2021, an early day of the Lunar New Year of Buffalo, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Leader of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa province attended the ceremony of launching the working emulation movement in 2021 at Khatoco’s head office. Present at the ceremony were the Board of Members, Board of Directors, Managers, Deputy Managers of Departments and Centers, Representatives of the Trade Union, Youth Union and Directors of 15 subsidiary companies of Khanh Viet Corporation.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Tien Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of Khanh Viet Corporation reported to Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh on Khatoco’s production and business results in 2020. Despite of many difficulties and challenges, Khatoco completed its assigned targets. The state budget contribution reached VND 2,357 billion and export turnover was USD 43 million. In 2021, Khatoco strives to achieve the state budget contribution of VND 2,584 billion and export turnover of USD 42.4 million. Additionally, Khatoco continues to implement 3 key investment projects: Investment in cut tobacco processing line at Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarettes Factory; Moving Khatoco Khanh Hoa Cigarettes Factory to Trang É Industrial Cluster; Building the infrastructure of Trang É Industrial Cluster. At the same time, Khatoco continues to carry out its equitization in accordance with the approved schedule.

On behalf of Khanh Hoa Provincial Leaders, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh expressed his best wishes to all Khatoco’s employees. He acknowledged and compliment on Khatoco’s great efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges to finish beyond the assigned duties in 2020. He says that he will continue to direct the relevant departments and organizations for solving Khatoco’s difficulties and supporting Khatoco to build the infrastructure of Trang É Industrial Cluster as well as speeding up the site clearance for the construction of this project.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh hopes that with the tradition of solidarity, creativity and determination to overcome difficulties and challenges of all Khatoco’s Board of Management and employees, Khatoco will complete excellently the assigned targets in 2021 to contribute positively to the development of Khanh Hoa province.
