On the morning of September 5, 2022, in the joyful atmosphere of beginning the new school year over the country, the Youth Union cooperated with the Trade Union of Khanh Viet Corporation in carrying out the program “Help Children Go to School” in 2022. The representatives of the Youth Union and the Trade Union of Khanh Viet Corporation were present at 15 schools in Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Gia Lai and Quang Nam provinces to offer gifts to needy students who overcome their difficulties to study well.
“Help Children Go to School” is a meaningful program carried out annually by Khatoco. This program is financed by the charity fund of the Trade Union of Khatoco which is contributed by Khatoco’s staff and the donation from Khatoco’s young union members. Especially, this year, the program has been supported by Khanh Hoa Newspaper. 820 gifts including 9260 notebooks, 472 sets of garments, 342 schoolbags worth VND 213 million were presented.
Taking care of and educating children and teenagers is one of the most important duties and common responsibilities of the whole society, including Khatoco. The program “Help Children Go to School” is one of social charitable activities, a beautiful action for the future generations. These gifts will greatly encourage the children to overcome their difficulties to study well to become useful and good citizens who will contribute actively to the cause of building and defending our country.
